Overview for Dietary and Lifestyle or Treatment info
see links at bottom
Stress is not a disease, everyone
experiences stress as part of their everyday life; the definition of
stress is a physical, mental or emotional strain or tension. Tension
is feeling strained emotionally and/or mentally, feeling anxious or
extremely excited. In general, reacting to a particular event through
feelings of anxiety, uneasiness or even dread is essentially what stress
is.
Stressful reactions are often highlighted by various situations and
are neither good nor bad, however some people react in very different
ways - some able to control their 'levels of stress' and unfortunately
others whose reactions are considered 'undesirable'.
