Oesophagaitis is an inflammation
of the oesophagatis. Oesophageal problems are discussed here one of
which is Oesophageal Reflux (gullet). Charaterised by the symptoms of
herartburn, which purely has nothing to do with the geart, and is felt
retrosternally as a burning discomfort. The precise situation varies
but usually is felt centrally behind the breast bone or sternum.
The reason it occurs is that there is a backward reflux into the lower
oesophagus, the internal lining of which ta the point of its joingin
the stomach is not adapted to deal with the gastric fluid emanatign
from the stomach.
This discomfort must be differentiated from Angina, which is a cardiac
problem and has to be elucidated.
