The main symptoms of angina
include a pain radiating around the central area of the chest, spreading
to the arms, neck or jaw, which is often triggered during exertion.
Undoubtedly, many people attribute this to indigestion (rather a vague
term), which also causes upper abdominal pain. However, it is very important
not to delay in seeking urgent medical advice from a doctor. Angina
may also be brought on, in some cases, by overeating and may be noticed
if the sufferer tries to 'walk off' the meal on a cold winter's day.
